Questions

Section A: Modern texts – students will answer one essay question from a choice of two on their studied modern prose or drama text. Our experienced GCSE tutors in Manchester guide students through key analysis techniques and structured essay writing as part of GCSE revision sessions.

Section B: Poetry

Students answer one comparative question on one named poem printed on the paper and one other poem from their chosen anthology cluster. Our GCSE tuition approach ensures students develop the skills to confidently tackle these comparative questions.

Section C: Unseen Poetry

Students will answer one question on an unseen poem and one question comparing this poem with a second unseen poem, building essential skills for exam preparation.

English Language Tuition

Explorations in creative reading and writing. Section A focuses on reading a fiction text to understand how writers use narrative and descriptive techniques. Section B allows students to write creatively, inspired by the topic in Section A. Our GCSE tutors support students in developing strong narrative and descriptive skills as part of GCSE tuition and revision.
